NOTE: Minecolony DEVELOPMENT HAS largely HALTED. ONE OF THE DEVS IS WORKING ON THE MOD, BUT ONLY PART TIME, AND THEREFORE THE UPDATE MAY OR MAY NOT COME OUT ANYTIME SOON. THE LAST COMPATIBLE VERSION OF MINECRAFT THAT WORKS WITH MINECOLONY IS CURRENTLY 1.2.5

This mod introduces a player built and run colony full of NPC’s that you can develop into a thriving bustling town or city with a virtually unlimited population.
Features are extensive and include citizens who pay taxes, and workers who perform tasks such as mining, woodcutting, farming and hunting on your behalf, as well as a full compliment of guards and defensive structures with which to defend your Colony not only from Vanilla Mobs, but 3rd party mod mobs as well (some easy user configuration required)
With a large array of structures that can be built by the NPC builder, all with various levels of upgrade, there are infinite ways of planning and building your colony into your dream city.
New features,workers, buildings and updates are coming all the time, so please check back often, join the growing MineColony community and come along for the ride with one of the best Minecraft mods out there !!
Currently the mod is only Single Player compatible. There is no plan to make the mod function in Multiplayer until the devs have implemented their entire vision for the mod into the single player version..
